Introducing Linkeeper 3.0: Our biggest update—yet.

Starlight Apps is incredibly thrilled to announce the launch of Linkeeper 3.0, a long overdue and much anticipated update. We’ve spent the last year and half taking in feedback from our users and carefully reconsidering core Linkeeper features to make the app even better for all our users. Let’s have a look at everything that’s new.

Subtly Redesigned.

Linkeeper gets a glow up with its latest release, featuring a carefully and subtly recrafted interface that features progressive blurs, depth, and gradients—bringing the app to life and making it feel more modern and intuitive. Animations throughout the app have also been updated, and some interactions have been re-engineered for a significantly smoother experience.

Nested Folders.

The biggest change with Linkeeper 3.0 is the addition of nested folders. You can now organize your bookmarks by having folders within folders—allowing for better categorization and making Linkeeper an even more powerful bookmarking tool. This has been one of Linkeeper’s most requested features, and we couldn’t be more excited for our users to get their hands on it starting today.

Custom Titles

While Linkeeper has allowed for the editing of bookmark titles post creation, users have frequently expressed the need for the ability to add a customized title to the bookmark right when they’re creating one. Linkeeper 3.0 allows users to disable automatic title fetching to take control over the titles of their bookmarks even before they save it—and we’re still allowing users to fetch the title automatically on-demand if you think the default title is enough.

A core principal that has guided Linkeeper’s development is it’s deep integration with the system. Not only does Linkeeper feel instantly familiar on Apple Platforms, but it also takes advantage of system-level features to provide a richer experience. Today’s updates further our commitment to doing so—starting with adaptive icons.

iOS 18 Adaptive Icons

Linkeeper now gets a new set of icons that have been created with iOS 18’s customization in mind. Linkeeper’s icon will now adapt as your device switches from light to dark mode to allow for greater consistency with the rest of the system. The new tinted mode is also now supported, so you can choose any color you like and Linkeeper’s icon will adapt to it too.

Home Screen Quick Actions

Linkeeper makes it easy to add bookmarks, whether it’s through Siri Shortcuts, Spotlight Integration, the Share Sheet or simply the paste button inside Linkeeper. Starting with Linkeeper 3.0, you can now add a bookmark simply by long pressing the Linkeeper icon on the home screen of your iPhone and iPad, or by performing a secondary click on the Linkeeper icon on your Mac’s dock. We believe this will allow users to save their time and streamline their bookmarking process even further.

Apple Intelligence Integration

While Apple Intelligence’s Personal Context features aren’t available yet, we’re thrilled to announce that Linkeeper 3.0 features deep system-level integrations that make it ready for Siri’s Personal Context integration that’s coming within the next year. Once Apple releases a software update featuring the new Siri updates, Linkeeper will automatically integrate with Siri—allowing you to simply say “Hey Siri, Add this to Linkeeper” while you’re browsing in Safari. Ready when you are, Apple.

Bug fixes and improvements.

Lastly, we’ve gotten rid of as many of those pesky bugs as we possibly can while also making smaller improvements throughout the app. We hope it makes your bookmarking experience more pleasant.

Linkeeper 3.0 is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.
